Job summary

Genpact Colombia is seeking a Specialist - F&A with a focus on AP. The role covers calculating and posting transactions, processing invoices, and ensuring payment approvals are in place.

You will verify data quality and support AP improvements in a hybrid work setup in Bogota, Colombia. Ideal candidates have accounting/finance degrees, strong Spanish language skills, and experience with AP processes, data analytics, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Masters in Finance is a plus and may be expected for senior roles.
• Experience with AP processes and financial controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process PO/Non-PO invoices and verify payment approvals.
• Vendor reconciliation and manage the payments cycle and GRIR.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc.
