Job summary

J.S. Held is seeking a Flight Operations Manager to coordinate our enterprise drone program and ensure a scalable, well-governed operating environment.

You will improve visibility into the fleet, support pilot and regulatory requirements, and enable consistent billing and reporting across practices, operations, and finance. The role partners with multiple functions and does not include direct pilot supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years in program management, operations, fleet/asset management, or related field.
• Practical knowledge of commercial drone operations and FAA requirements.
• Experience implementing standardized processes across teams/locations.
• Experience selecting or administering a relevant platform.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish in business communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the enterprise drone program and maintain visibility into drone assets, pilots, certifications, utilization, and flight activity.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, training, policies, records, and controls for consistent operations across the firm.
• Track program performance and provide reporting on utilization, compliance, billing, risks, and progress.
• Manage fleet operations, budgeting, and regulatory compliance including FAA requirements and renewals.
• Partner with Finance and practice operations to establish drone billing and documentation practices.
