Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will lead incident response, define IaC standards, and drive platform engineering priorities across AWS, EKS, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, and data pipelines. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with security and analytics teams, and ensure compliant, scalable, and observable production systems while aligning with business

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/Platform/SRE/DevOps roles.
• Extensive AWS production environment expertise.
• Deep Kubernetes and Amazon EKS experience.
• Hands-on Argo Workflows or similar.
• IaC experience, preferably Terraform, with CI/CD.
• Observability and incident response leadership.
• Experience with SLAs, runbooks, and on-call.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt, Fivetran/HVR.
• Python/Shell/Bash for automation.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and end-to-end reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3, Fivetran and Tableau dependencies.
• Lead the technical transition into managed services, including platform discovery, dependency mapping, risk identification, knowledge transfer, shadowing, readiness validation by platform tower.
• Establish and evolve cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD and release practices, observability patterns, operational controls, and platform priorities.
• Provide technical leadership for AWS infra, Kubernetes/EKS operations, Argo Workflows, deployment automation, secrets/access management, capacity, and production reliability.
• Translate business, service, security, and platform needs into actionable requirements, plans, and backlog.
• Guide cross-platform decisions involving Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, ingestion, S3 lake ops, workflow orchestration, data quality, and analytics dependencies.
• Lead complex cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation across infra, ingestion, orchestration, Snowflake, Tableau.
• Direct technical response during major incidents including RCA, post-incident reviews, and preventive actions.
• Ensure changes/releases include proper reviews, validation, rollback, traceability, and cross-component coordination.
• Define and monitor reliability indicators such as availability, ingestion success, data freshness, workflow reliability, deployment outcomes, alert quality, MTTR, recurring incident patterns.
• Lead improvements in automation, observability, auto-remediation, resilience, deployment safety, performance, security, capacity, and cloud cost.
• Partner with Security, Governance, Analytics, IT, and platform stakeholders for least-privilege access, auditability, and compliant data handling.
• Review designs and high-impact changes; ensure secure, scalable, supportable solutions within managed-service model.
• Mentor Senior/Mid engineers, delegate ownership, improve team practices, and build distributed-team capability.
• Maintain alignment between LatAm and India coverage windows via clear ownership and handoffs.
• Participate in senior escalation and on-call model for incidents outside staffed hours.
