Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role requires strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, Argo Workflows, and IaC, along with leadership of incidents and cross-functional teams.

You will drive platform reliability, capacity planning, and secure data pipelines, partnering with Security, Governance, Analytics, IT, and stakeholders to ensure compliant operations

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud/Platform engineering or SRE.
• Experience with AWS production environments and security, networking, access management, monitoring, and operations.
• Advanced Kubernetes and Amazon EKS expertise with workload deployment, troubleshooting, observability, and scaling.
• Hands-on with Terraform and IaC, CI/CD, release automation, and rollback practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, Bash for automation.
• Strong data platform knowledge: Snowflake, S3 data lakes, dbt, and related tools.
• Experience leading incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting across infra, apps, data pipelines, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and end-to-end reliability of the managed Data Platform on AWS, EKS, Snowflake, and related pipelines.
• Lead the transition to managed services, including discovery, risk mapping, and knowledge transfer.
• Define cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD, observability patterns, and platform priorities.
• Provide leadership for AWS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, and deployment automation; manage access and capacity.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and a prioritized improvement backlog.
• Guide cross-platform decisions involving Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and data-lake operations.
• Lead complex cross-platform troubleshooting and major incident response across infra, ingestion, orchestration, and analytics.
• Ensure releases include validation, rollback planning, and traceability across components.
