Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will drive cloud architecture, IaC practices, and incident leadership across AWS, EKS, Argo, Snowflake, and Tableau.

The role requires 6+ years in Cloud/Platform engineering, strong AWS and Kubernetes experience, and expertise in observability, data pipelines, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on with AWS production environments including security, networking, IAM, monitoring.
• Advanced Kubernetes and Amazon EKS experience.
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows or similar.
• Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably Terraform.
• Observability, logging, monitoring, alerting and incident routing.
• Lead major incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Experience with SLAs, runbooks, change controls, on-call.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt, Fivetran or HVR, data pipelines.
• Python/Shell for automation.
• Strong English communication.
• Available for LatAm service window 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and orchestration of the data platform across AWS, EKS, Argo, Snowflake, S3, Fivetran, and Tableau.
• Lead transition into managed services with platform discovery and readiness validation.
• Define IaC standards, CI/CD and release practices, and observability patterns.
• Provide leadership for AWS, Kubernetes, Argo, deployment automation, and access management.
• Translate needs into technical requirements and a prioritized backlog.
• Guide cross-platform decisions for Snowflake, dbt, ingestion, S3 lake ops, and analytics deps.
• Lead complex cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation.
• Direct technical response during major incidents including post-incident reviews.
• Ensure changes/releases include review, dependency analysis, rollback planning, traceability.
• Define and monitor reliability metrics like availability and data freshness.
