Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure and reliability layers behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will own the Cloud/DevOps service tower during the LatAm coverage window, manage AWS infrastructure (EKS, S3, EventBridge, API Gateway, Lambda), Kubernetes workloads, and Argo Workflows, plus IaC, observability, and incident response. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure in production environments.
• Advanced Kubernetes and AWS EKS operations.
• Experience administering Argo Workflows.
• Strong Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Experience with monitoring and incident response tools (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate, maintain, and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows with deployment and monitoring.
• Define and improve IaC, CI/CD, release processes, and environment consistency.
• Lead observability improvements linking alerts to runbooks.
• Improve alert routing and escalation workflows across tooling.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
