Core Logistics in Bogota, Colombia is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to build and manage relationships with freight carriers, securing coverage for loads with competitive margins. The role focuses on negotiating rates, maintaining compliance, and meeting KPIs while collaborating with Account Managers and pricing teams in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in logistics, freight brokerage, or carrier sales (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. transportation market (FTL/LTL).
• Proven negotiation and closing skills; fast-paced environment experience.
• Intermediate to advanced English for carrier communication.

Responsabilités

• Source, negotiate, and secure carriers to cover minimum 10 loads daily with positive 22% margin.
• Be accountable for your loads; you booked it, it’s your load.
• Create and maintain relationships with carriers and drivers.
• Negotiate rates aligned with company margin objectives.
• Proactively contact carriers and verify credentials (MC, insurance, authority, W9).
• Confirm driver availability, equipment type, pickup/delivery details; send Rate Confirmations.
• Ensure carriers meet tracking requirements and stay compliant during transport.
• Follow up on sold loads through pickup and delivery; resolve pre-pickup issues.
• Maintain accurate information in the TMS; meet/exceed KPIs; collaborate with teams.
