Kraken is seeking an Operations and Tooling professional to streamline processes for our Engineering Operations team. You will configure Jira/Confluence, drive AI-enabled automation, and own the triage and intake workflow to ensure proper routing of work.

You’ll maintain engineering metrics data, publish weekly delivery reports to leadership, and collaborate across engineering and product teams to reduce friction and improve developer experience.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in operations, process, or tooling roles with a meaningful shipped outcome.
• Hands on Jira administration covering boards, workflows, schemas, permissions and custom fields.
• Deliberate use of AI in day-to-day work and ability to apply it when appropriate.
• Systematic thinking to map processes to systems and catch downstream impacts.
• Ability to translate vague stakeholder requests into scoped work and push back when needed.
• Strong written communication and ability to document processes clearly.
• Genuine interest in internal tooling, developer experience and operations.
• Curiosity to learn new tools and frameworks and apply them effectively.
• Exposure to engineering metrics, developer productivity data or DORA metrics.

Responsabilidades

• Own the triage and intake process so work reaches engineering properly routed and to standard.
• Administer Jira and Confluence including configuration, workflows, permissions and automations.
• Keep roadmaps healthy and run weekly delivery reporting to leadership.
• Own the quality of engineering metrics data including team definitions, ownership records and tool configuration.
• Use AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve visibility into engineering activity.
• Collaborate with engineers, managers and teams across the business to identify friction and scalable solutions.
