Job summary

Universia Colombia seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk to ensure accurate and timely billing of receivables and record incoming cash payments. You will reconcile account discrepancies and support finance operations.

Based in Bogotá, you will assist in aging reconciliations, resolve inquiries, prepare invoices, and monitor overdue accounts with KPI reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Review Accounts Receivable aging reconciliations and provide adjustments.
• Resolve inquiries and disputes regarding collections and balances.
• Review statutory non-admitted over-90 adjustments and doubtful accounts.
• Prepare invoices.
• Monitor aging of accounts receivable balances and implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
• Manage collection activities such as sending follow-ups to past-due accounts.
• Prepare aging reports to track outstanding accounts and provide KPIs to management.

Accounts Receivable Process

• Assist with the review of Accounts Receivable Aging reconciliations and provide clarifications or adjustments for discrepancies.
• Collaborate to resolve inquiries and disputes regarding collections and accounts receivable balances.
• Assist in reviewing the statutory non-admitted over-90 adjustments and doubtful accounts.
• Responsible for preparing invoices

Monitoring and Reporting

• Assist in the monitoring of the aging of accounts receivable balances and the implementation of strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
• Manage collection activities such as sending follow-ups to past-due accounts
• Prepare and maintain aging reports to track outstanding accounts and provide key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
