Job summary

XML International in Medellín, Colombia is seeking an organized accounting professional to support the Accounting Manager. You will prepare journal entries, analyses, and reconciliations and assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes.

You will handle intercompany invoices, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with internal audit work. The role emphasizes process improvement, accuracy, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting Manager as needed.
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly, quarterly and yearly close processes.
• Invoice intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and compile intercompany aging’s.
• Prepares working papers associated with and assists with the year-end internal audit.
• Continuously improve processes to reduce manual efforts.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
