Job summary

Auxis LLC in Bogotá seeks an entry-level Accountant to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions and to support the month-end close.

You will work with the Staff Accountant to prepare journals, reconciliations, and reports, while maintaining records and assisting with audits and open items. The role requires English/Spanish communication and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• English–Spanish language ability at B2 or higher (written and spoken).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently studying Accounting, Finance, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and verify journal entries and accounting reports.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts (low and mid complexity).
• Prepare and reconcile invoices and purchase requisitions.
• Enter financial data into accounting systems.
• Maintain records and files for transactions.
• Provide backup for other positions as needed.
• Assist with internal and external audit documentation.
