ABA Centers of America in Medellín seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function, ensuring accuracy and timely financial reporting under US GAAP, while upholding internal controls across the close process.

You will supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting, partner with auditors, and drive improvements in processes and systems to support scalable, compliant financial operations globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, MBA desirable.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or QuickBooks preferred).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC standards.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management.
• Payroll accounting experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded per U.S. GAAP.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, annual close processes with timely journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare financial statements and ensure reporting compliance with GAAP/ASC.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate with external auditors.
• Manage budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning; oversee payroll accounting.
