Zusammenfassung

Auxis is seeking a Staff Accountant in Colombia to support daily and monthly accounting tasks, including journal entries, month-end close, and reconciliations. You will help ensure accurate financial reporting in line with GAAP-IFRS and regulatory requirements, while supporting reporting packages and internal controls.

The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting, and proficiency with ERP and MS Office.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Minimum 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with Netsuite, Oracle or SAP preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Aufgaben

• Maintain general ledger, record transactions, reconcile accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements: balance sheets, income, cash flow.
• Support month-end and year-end close with journal entries.
• Update accounting policies and controls to comply with GAAP/IFRS.
• Participate in audits, budgeting, and forecasting as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external parties on accounting matters.
• Support accounting team with other duties as needed.
