Job summary

SOLVO S.A.S in Medellín, Colombia is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing global accounting team. You will process invoices, manage vendor payments, and maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote), strong Excel and ERP experience required, and opportunities for professional development within an international company.

Qualifications

• Advanced English required (C1 preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable experience.
• High School Diploma; Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Experience processing invoices and vendor payments.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and code invoices to the appropriate General Ledger accounts.
• Obtain required approvals and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare and process weekly vendor payments.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and account balances.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor records and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable balances and resolve outstanding issues.
• Support accounting operations while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
