We are seeking an experienced Account & Logistics Specialist to oversee end-to-end transportation, warehousing coordination, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate has a strong background in account management within logistics or supply chain, with hands-on experience in bulk transport (railcar, pneumatic tanker, dry van, LTL) and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Transportation: Arrange and oversee carriers, freight forwarders, and courier services to ensure timely and reliable deliveries.
• Coordinate Warehouse Operations: Collaborate with warehouse teams to guarantee products are accurately packed, labeled, and prepared for dispatch.
• Handle Documentation: Prepare and maintain all required shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping labels, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Schedule & Track Shipments: Monitor pickups, transit, and deliveries, proactively addressing any risks to on-time performance.
• Resolve Logistics Issues: Respond swiftly to delays, damaged goods, or misrouted shipments to minimize disruption.
• Optimize Costs: Evaluate freight rates, negotiate with carriers, and manage transportation budgets to achieve cost efficiency.
• Maintain Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the company, carriers, brokers, and customers, providing clear updates and solutions.
• CRM & Reporting: Accurately record shipment details, customer interactions, and vendor communications in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years in Account Management / Logistics, with direct client, carrier, and broker interaction.
• Solid knowledge of warehouse operations (packing, labeling, inventory readiness).
• Experience with bulk transport logistics (rail-car, pneumatic tanker, dry-van, LTL).
• Skilled in shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs, labels).
• Strong problem-solving & cost management (rate negotiations, freight spend control).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in fast-paced environments.
• Preferred: Background in food ingredients or flour distribution.
