Job summary

Hitachi Energy Chile is seeking a Local Service Unit Manager (PGSV) to lead the local service business, align with global strategies, and drive strong financial and operational performance. You will oversee service teams, customer relationships, and field operations to deliver excellence and growth.

Ideal candidates have a business/engineering background, proven P&L ownership, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading a Service business unit with IB management and full P&L accountability.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid technical knowledge of transformers, circuit breakers, substations and HV systems.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; able to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the PGSV Service strategy at the country level and drive market growth.
• Manage the local Service P&L to ensure profitability and target achievement.
• Strengthen customer relationships, expand installed base, and drive customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Promote operational excellence through process optimization, resource planning, and continuous improvement.
• Drive a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, develop, and engage service teams with staffing, capability development, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
