Job summary

Hitachi Energy Chile S.A. seeks an experienced Technical Leader Manager to guide the development and delivery of innovative technology solutions.

You will lead a team of software engineers, architects, and data scientists, defining roadmaps and ensuring high-quality, scalable systems. In this role you will oversee the full lifecycle, collaborate closely with product and project management, drive technical excellence, and manage budgets and timelines to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in areas such as Network Control Systems, EMS, GMS, SCADA or related technologies.
• 3–5 years of technical leadership or people management experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong knowledge of modern software architectures and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.
• Experience designing, developing and deploying large-scale, complex software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software professionals.
• Define technical roadmaps, architectures, and best practices for complex systems.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies for Hitachi’s product portfolio.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of delivered solutions.
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
• Foster a culture of learning and technical excellence within the team.
• Represent Hitachi’s technical capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
