Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist for Control, Protection, and Telecommunications to drive strategic sales and key account growth in the power grid sector. You will work with engineering experts to craft tailored proposals focused on SCADA, protection relays, and utility communications.

The role requires a strong technical backdrop, a minimum of two years in commercial sales, and the ability to travel to client sites.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field is mandatory.
• Proven senior-level experience in sales or business development within the Power Sector or heavy industry.
• Solid understanding of Substation Automation, Protection & Control, and SCADA systems is desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience, preferably in sales; proposals/bid management/tendering experience also considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Intermediate English; native Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and hybrid work with 1 day per week in the office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic sales for specialized services and maintenance solutions for Control, Protection, and Telecommunication systems.
• Manage and grow high-priority accounts regionally and nationally; act as the primary strategic contact.
• Conduct technical assessments of installed base to recommend upgrades and solutions.
• Coordinate end-to-end preparation of complex bids and technical proposals.
• Execute sales processes independently and navigate negotiations with limited supervision.
• Mentor junior professionals and uphold a culture of technical excellence.
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with internal guidelines and external regulations.
