Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior Project Controls Scheduler in Antofagasta to support mining and metals projects. You will prepare, update, and forecast project schedules, applying unit hours and pricing data and performing(schedule) logic integrations to optimize execution.

Responsibilities include milestone control, progress reporting, and recovery planning while coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, and control for EPC projects.
• Ability to develop complete EPC schedules from scratch.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, and startup processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractor and master schedules to identify impacts and mitigations.
• Update and maintain the project master schedule and logic relationships.
• Set milestones and monitor progress, ensuring timely actions.
• Issue alerts on changes that affect cost or deadlines.
• Develop resource loading and level schedules; align manpower requirements.
• Collect schedule data from disciplines and resolve constraints.
• Prepare and present schedule impact reports and recovery plans.
