Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler in Antofagasta to join our mining and metals projects. You will work with the project team to prepare schedule data, develop and update schedules, and run what-if scenarios to forecast outcomes.

You will apply unit hour data, perform schedule integrations, identify restraints, and develop recovery plans to ensure on-time project delivery. Proficiency in Primavera is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or international equivalent).
• 8–10 years of relevant Project Controls experience with emphasis on planning and scheduling.
• Experience in performing EPC scheduling and schedule development from scratch.
• Knowledge of mining/industrial project environments is a plus.
• Proficient with Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth schedule analysis of contractor and master schedules and present mitigations.
• Update and maintain the project master schedule with correct logic and scope.
• Set up milestones and monitor critical path, enabling proactive actions.
• Issue alerts for changes that affect cost or deadlines.
• Develop resource loading, leveling, and curves; align with project objectives.
• Collect schedule data from disciplines and contractors to resolve constraints.
• Prepare and present schedule impact reports and recovery plans.
