Job summary

Bechtel in Antofagasta, Chile is seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to support the mining and metals project teams. You will develop, update, and analyze schedules, apply unit hour data, and forecast outcomes to keep milestones on track.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines, manage resource loading, and provide proactive schedule recovery plans to sustain project performance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 8–10 years in project controls.
• Experience in EPC planning, scheduling, control and analysis.
• Experience developing EPC schedules from scratch.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractor and master schedules to identify impacts and mitigations.
• Update and maintain the project master schedule.
• Establish milestones and monitor progress.
• Notify project management of changes affecting cost or schedule.
• Maintain resource loading, scheduling curves, and manpower coordination.
• Gather schedule data from disciplines and contractors.
• Create and present schedule impact reports and recovery plans.
