Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler in Antofagasta to support mining and metals projects. You will develop and update project schedules, apply unit hour data, and run scenarios to forecast outcomes.

You will analyze contractor and master schedules, coordinate with disciplines, and prepare recovery plans to keep the project on track. Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field and 8–14 years in planning and scheduling in EPC environments; Primavera and MS Office

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
8–14 years of experience in Project Controls with emphasis on planning and scheduling, or 12–14 years in lieu of a degree.
Experience in EPC scheduling, control, and analysis in field and home office.
Strong proficiency with Primavera and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

Perform in-depth schedule analysis of contractor and master schedules and present mitigations.
Update and maintain the project master schedule with correct logic and scope.
Establish milestones and monitor schedule performance, identifying risks early.
Issue alerts for changes in quantities or work that may affect cost or deadlines.
Develop and maintain resource loading and schedule leveling; ensure manpower alignment with project objectives.
Collect schedule data from all disciplines and contractors, resolve constraints affecting timeline.
Develop, issue, and present schedule impact reports; assist in recovery plan development.
