Job summary

Bechtel Chile is seeking a senior Process Engineer to lead studies and guide mineral processing design across SABC/Stage Crushing, Flotation, and Dewatering. You will run test campaigns, interpret results, and define process design criteria with on-site collaboration for readiness from project to operation.

The role requires extensive commissioning and ramp-up experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under Bechtel’s safety and quality standards on a part-time telework basis with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of work experience in the mining/mineral processing sector.
• 10+ years in projects and operations of mineral processing plants, incl. operational readiness.
• Commissioning experience and plant ramp-up of a mineral processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as consultant to clients and internal engineering groups on assignments.
• Review process concepts, studies, drawings, calculations and specs.
• Interface with client personnel to determine needs and develop study scopes & cost estimates.
• Develop Operational Readiness Documents and Guidelines for smooth transitions.
• Provide guidance to engineering personnel on advanced design criteria and specs.
• Create and maintain documentation of drawings, process sheets, procedures, concepts.
• Perform other duties as required by Bechtel management.
• Present technical information at industry forums and internal meetings.
