Job summary

CATL is hiring two Local Project Managers to lead utility-scale BESS project delivery in Chile. You will coordinate end-to-end project activities, from manufacturing coordination and FAT to site commissioning and COD, working with customers, EPCs and suppliers.

The role requires strong multi-stakeholder leadership, English and Spanish fluency, and a deep understanding of BESS/renewable energy project delivery in Latin America.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience on utility-scale BESS, solar PV or wind in Chile/Latin America.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Strong technical understanding and stakeholder management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple suppliers and resolve delivery challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BESS project delivery from manufacturing coordination to COD.
• Coordinate with customers, EPCs, developers and suppliers for system integration.
• Oversee schedules, quality, risks, and milestones.
• Ensure alignment between Chilean stakeholders and China HQ.

We Are Hiring | 2 Local Project Managers - Chile

We are looking for two experienced Local Project Managers to lead utility-scale BESS project delivery in Chile.

Preferred Backgrounds

Digital Power - Experience in BESS, solar inverter or renewable energy project delivery.

EPC Contractors - Proven experience managing utility-scale BESS, solar PV or wind projects, including construction, commissioning and grid connection.

Renewable Energy Developers / IPPs - Experience managing EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, project execution and COD delivery from the owner's side.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end BESS project delivery, from manufacturing coordination, FAT and international logistics to site commissioning, grid connection and COD.
• Lead technical and project coordination with customers, EPC contractors, developers and suppliers.
• Coordinate BESS, PCS, EMS/PPC and other technical teams to achieve successful system integration and commissioning.
• Manage project schedules, quality, risks and key milestones.
• Ensure effective collaboration between China-based headquarters and local Chilean stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Proven project management experience in utility-scale BESS, solar PV or wind projects in Chile or Latin America.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Strong technical understanding, stakeholder management and project ownership.
• Ability to coordinate multiple suppliers and resolve complex project delivery challenges.

Important: Hands-on equipment commissioning is not required. The role focuses on leading teams, managing technical interfaces and driving successful project delivery.
