Job summary

Amazon Web Services Chile Limitada - E39 is seeking an ITS Support Engineer to serve as the go-to IT expert for corporate employees, delivering on-site, high-quality support and ensuring secure, uninterrupted productivity.

You will diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues, mentor peers, manage asset inventories, and collaborate with vendors to improve operations. English fluency is required; location is Chile.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of corporate Windows, Mac or Linux OS support experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site, high quality hands-on support diagnosing and resolving issues, evaluating log files to determine system health.
• Provide on-call support for high severity incidents and act as escalation point for the team.
• Assist with triage and escalation of outages to reduce downtime.
• Understand and execute change management in a high availability environment.
• Collaborate with partner teams and vendors on improvement projects to deliver operational excellence and value.
• Manage and oversee IT asset inventories.
• Participate in hiring, training and mentoring peers and new team members.
• Continuously expand skills and keep up-to-date with IT policies and technologies.
