Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Chile is seeking a motivated HR Operations student to support employee lifecycle transactions from preboarding through offboarding. The role ensures accurate records, timely HR actions, and compliance with Chilean labor law while collaborating with People Operations.

The incumbent will organize files, process HR transactions in systems, and assist with inquiries via the internal ticketing system, contributing to a compliant and efficient HR function in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Administration, Human Resources, or related field with at least 2 years until graduation.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and process execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and maintain digital and physical employee files, including onboarding documentation, contract amendments, overtime agreements, and offboarding records.
• Execute transactions within HR systems to ensure accurate and timely completion of preboarding, onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle changes.
• Resolve operational HR inquiries promptly through our internal ticketing system.
• Prepare termination documents and other materials requiring Legal Representative signatures, coordinating notary services as needed.
• Document and digitize the Remuneration Book in accordance with company standards.
• Support local institutional requirements to ensure smooth HR operations within People Operations.
• Maintain audit-ready employee records in compliance with company policy and Chilean Labor Law, providing on-site support during regulatory reviews.
