Job summary

ecoligo is seeking a People Operations Manager (f/m/x) based in Chile to oversee global HR operations, coordinate payroll across countries, and support onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, and automation initiatives. You will work closely with our Head of People & IT in Germany to support a small, international team across Chile and other locations.

The role requires 3+ years in HR operations, knowledge of Chilean employment law, experience with multi-country payroll, and strong English

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar hands-on HR role.
• Solid understanding of Chilean employment law and HR practices; knowledge of employment requirements in other Latin American countries is a strong plus.
• Experience coordinating payroll and working with external payroll providers; multi-country payroll experience is a plus.
• Comfortable managing recruitment processes and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
• Enjoys working with digital tools and HR systems; curious about automation to improve processes.
• Very good level of English, both written and spoken; Spanish fluency required for Chilean context.

Responsibilities

• Manage global HR operations across Chile and international locations, including employee data, contracts, documentation and benefits administration.
• Coordinate monthly payroll processes for Chile and other countries with local providers.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for employees across countries, including remote environments.
• Manage recruitment processes from job postings to interviews and hiring manager support.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate recurring HR tasks and maintain clear processes.
• Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys, team events, and performance management cycles.
• Provide occasional administrative support to the Head of LATAM.
