Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Head of Growth – PAC to lead Ocean Freight growth across the PAC cluster. You will define pricing strategy, strengthen tender performance, and align the commercial organization for sustainable profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional training as a forwarding merchant.
• More than six years of experience in the Ocean Freight forwarding industry.
• Experience working in a multinational and large corporate environment.
• Successful track record in leadership roles.
• Strong customer relationships and commercial understanding.
• Fluency in English and the relevant local language.
• Availability to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive volume growth across all Ocean Freight products in coordination with country and regional leadership.
• Lead the tender and RFQ strategy, including pricing, analytics, risk assessment and win-rate initiatives.
• Execute regional pricing strategy and ensure rate management across the PAC cluster.
• Lead cost-management initiatives, local contract negotiations and supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve gross profit, address revenue leakage and profitability of the customer portfolio.
• Coordinate the commercial approach for Ocean Freight products with Marketing & Sales.
• Act as a senior commercial product representative in strategic tenders and customer engagements.
• Lead the local growth framework and Route Development Management across Ocean Freight products.
• Enhance value propositions from product and trade-lane perspectives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the growth team, fostering collaboration and high-performance culture.

Head of Growth – PAC

At DHL Global Forwarding, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven leader to join our organization as Head of Growth – PAC.

This is a key leadership position responsible for shaping and accelerating the Ocean Freight growth agenda across the PAC cluster. The role will define and execute growth initiatives, guide pricing strategy, strengthen tender performance and align the commercial organization around a clear direction for sustainable and profitable growth.

Working closely with Ocean Freight leadership, station management, Trade Management, Marketing & Sales, and other key stakeholders, the successful candidate will translate regional priorities into effective commercial actions across countries, products, trade lanes and customer segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive volume growth across all Ocean Freight products in close coordination with country and regional product leadership, station management and Trade Management.
• Lead the tender and RFQ strategy, including competitive pricing, analytics, risk assessment and initiatives to improve win ratios.
• Execute the regional pricing strategy and ensure effective rate management across the PAC cluster.
• Lead cost-management initiatives, local contract negotiations and supplier-performance management.
• Identify opportunities to improve gross profit, address revenue leakage and strengthen the profitability of the customer portfolio.
• Coordinate the commercial approach for Ocean Freight products with Marketing & Sales.
