Job summary

Bechtel in Antofagasta, Chile seeks an experienced Project Controls Planner to lead schedule development and updates for mining projects. You will apply unit hour data, run what-if scenarios, and assess subcontractor schedules to help the project meet milestones.

You will maintain the master schedule, monitor critical paths, identify constraints, and develop recovery plans. Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8–14 years EPC scheduling experience; proficiency with Primavera, Primavera

Qualifications

Experience in planning & scheduling for EPC projects.
Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction processes.
Proficiency with Primavera and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Perform in-depth schedule analysis of contractor and master schedules.
Update and maintain the project master schedule with correct logic.
Establish milestones and monitor critical paths for the total project.
Issue alerts of changes affecting cost and deadline.
Develop resource loading, schedule leveling, and curves; ensure manpower alignment.
Collect schedule details from all disciplines and resolve constraints.
Develop and issue schedule performance reports and recovery plans.
