Job-Room is seeking a Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations in a busy hotel environment in Switzerland. You will plan and prepare daily menus, supervise staff, and ensure top-quality presentation and service across lunch and dinner services.

Responsibilities include mise en place, menu discussions for events, and maintaining hygiene and stock integrity. You will collaborate with the head chef and mentor apprentices to uphold high culinary standards.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as sous chef or in a leadership role in a kitchen.
• Ability to plan and prepare daily menus and buffets.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness of staff and storage areas.

Aufgaben

• Prepare daily menus (cold and hot appetizers and salads).
• Mise en place for breakfast and service at stations.
• Discuss daily menus, banquets, and events with the team.
• Prepare staff meals for service periods.
• Oversee lunch service across restaurant, bar, lobby, terrace, and dining room.
• Oversee dinner service (half board and à la carte).
• Check garde manger mise en place and quality.
