Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a studio seeking a Senior Character Concept Artist (Stylized Games) to shape distinctive characters for production, remote from Switzerland. You will drive visual exploration, craft silhouettes, facial expressions, and color palettes, and hand off polished concepts to 3D teams.

You’ll collaborate with Art Directors, Character Artists, and Animators to ensure designs support storytelling and gameplay, while maintaining a cohesive visual language across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Character Concept Artist role.
• Portfolio showing stylized character design.
• Strong anatomy, silhouette, color theory.
• Experience translating concepts to 3D assets.
• Fluent in English; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead visual exploration of stylized characters for production.
• Create thumbnails, sketches, variations, expression sheets.
• Prepare production-ready turnarounds and callouts.
• Collaborate with 3D artists, animators, and art directors.
• Maintain consistent visual language across character rosters.
• Incorporate feedback while preserving character intent.
