Job summary

Techup Systems seeks a Senior SME Insurance Expert for Commercial P&C underwriting on a 4-month project in Adliswil (ZH). The role focuses on aligning with customer needs, enhancing product offerings, and modernizing framework agreements. 100% workload with a daily rate of CHF 920.00.

The candidate will drive analysis of underwriting guidelines, product competitiveness, and efficiency gains across Sales, Business Development, and Underwriting teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in the Swiss SME commercial insurance market.
• Proven underwriting experience as an Underwriter or SME in the P&C sector.
• Sound technical expertise in property and/or casualty insurance.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and portfolio management tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and revise the customer orientation strategy for the P&C SME sector.
• Develop and evaluate insurance products for SMEs to stay competitive.
• Review and optimize underwriting guidelines and control mechanisms.
• Define underwriting limits and deductibles considering coverage types and industry norms.
• Analyze current market practices and internal underwriting processes.
• Optimize framework agreements to improve efficiency and SOPs.
• Document optimized processes, recommendations, and SOPs for stakeholders.
