Job summary

Coopers Group in Basel is seeking an IT Support professional on a 60% workload for a 6-month contract (with potential extension). The role focuses on Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals, and requires strong Windows and Microsoft 365 expertise, plus AD and Intune management.

You will handle onboarding/offboarding in AD/Entra ID, assist with IT projects, and contribute to security training and policy compliance. Basel-based, on-site role with future extension possibilities.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in IT Support / Desktop Support / End User Computing.
• Proficient in Windows 10/11 and basic Linux/macOS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID).
• Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN).
• Familiar with endpoint management tools (Intune or similar).
• Familiar with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and ITIL processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, meeting rooms, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft 365, including email, VPN, and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory (on-prem) and Azure AD (Entra ID), onboarding and offboarding.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software according to company standards.
• Monitor and respond to incidents and service requests using an ITSM tool (ServiceNow).
• Perform root cause analysis and escalate complex issues to Level 3 teams when required.
• Support network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewall troubleshooting).
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection and audit requirements.
• Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and rollout of new tools.
• Provide user training and guidance on best practices and security awareness.
