You will build and scale high-performance APIs and microservices used by millions of travelers, taking ownership of architecture, automation, and performance in a high-load environment.

You will collaborate with Product and QA, emphasize testing and code quality, and tackle technical debt while delivering maintainable, scalable backend solutions across global teams.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience with Django and DRF.
• Advanced Python proficiency and backend architecture knowledge.
• Experience designing microservices and integrating third-party systems.
• Unit testing with Pytest and quality-focused development practices.
• Asynchronous programming and high-load query optimization.
• Strong API design, software architecture, and maintainable code practices.
• English at C1 level for international collaboration.
• Proven collaboration and communication skills across teams.

Aufgaben

• Build, maintain, and optimize mission-critical microservices using Python, Django, and DRF.
• Design scalable APIs to support high-concurrency traffic and peak usage.
• Contribute to software architecture with a focus on operations, automation, and scalability.
• Establish quality frameworks with unit testing and automated checks using Pytest.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, N+1 queries, and async processing issues.
• Design and implement microservices that integrate with complex third-party systems.
• Improve performance and reliability via profiling and asynchronous techniques.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and engineering across international teams.
• Promote software engineering best practices through code reviews and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across development and operations.
• Act as a technical reference for backend engineering and guide strategic thinking while coding.
