Jobgether on behalf of a partner is seeking an Engineering Manager in Switzerland to lead a global SaaS platform’s core capabilities. You will own technical direction and drive AI-enabled agentic workflows, balancing hands-on coding with team leadership in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, define roadmaps with Product and AI/ML partners, and raise standards for reliability, security, and observability while empowering cross-functional

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of engineering management experience, remote agile teams.
• Recent hands-on production coding and system maintenance.
• Ability to design and unblock complex tech challenges.
• Experience building LLM-powered or agentic features in production.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js/AWS/React expertise with good API design.
• Security, observability, and performance optimization experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong cross-functional collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering ownership and continuous improvement.
• Own technical direction and delivery roadmap for core platform domains.
• Design and deliver agentic workflows enabling AI systems to plan and test.
• Dedicate 20–30% of time to production code and critical reviews.
• Modernize legacy systems and reduce technical debt without production disruption.
• Establish engineering practices around planning, design reviews, standards, delivery quality.
• Own production support and root-cause analysis, reducing recurring issues.
• Define and monitor SLOs, dashboards, observability for reliability.
• Maintain security best practices and scalable cloud usage.
• Introduce AI-assisted development in workflows and documentation.
• Translate business strategy into a sequenced technical roadmap from discovery to production.
