Jobgether is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer based in Switzerland for a fully remote, Europe-wide role. You will own a modern data platform and BI layer, transforming complex data into scalable insights for customers and internal teams in an aviation-focused environment.

You will design robust pipelines, manage governance, and build customer-facing analytics and dashboards. Strong SQL, Databricks, and Power BI expertise are required, with autonomy and outcome-driven mindset.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering, preferably customer-facing BI.
• Proven track record of building scalable data platforms and customer-facing analytics in SaaS or product-driven environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, and Delta Lake.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure data ecosystem.
• Advanced Power BI data modelling, DAX, and semantic models.
• Advanced SQL and dimensional modelling knowledge (Kimball).
• Experience implementing CI/CD for data pipelines and BI assets with version control (Git).
• Ability to own end-to-end data product delivery and governance.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Take end-to-end ownership of a modern data platform and BI layer.
• Design, build, and operate robust ETL/ELT workflows for batch and near-real-time data processing.
• Establish data quality, reliability, observability, and performance standards across the platform.
• Define data contracts and scalable architecture principles while optimising costs.
• Own Power BI semantic models, KPIs, and dataset refresh processes.
• Develop customer-facing dashboards, embedded analytics, and data exports.
• Enable governed self-service analytics and multi-tenant data models.
• Translate customer needs into scalable data products and reporting standards.
• Implement testing, monitoring, CI/CD, and versioning across pipelines and BI assets.
• Lead migration from vendor-built BI to a product-grade architecture.
• Identify patterns and opportunities to deliver measurable customer and business impact.
