Hitachi Energy Ltd in Zurich seeks a motivated Working Student to support the Procurement team in daily operations, supplier management, and data analysis as part of a 12-month, part-time role.

You will gain exposure to strategic procurement in an international setting, create purchase orders in ERP (SAP), assist with supplier onboarding, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives while collaborating with engineering, finance and operations.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Interest in procurement and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proactive and structured way of working.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and German.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Procurement team in daily purchasing activities.
• Assist with supplier communications and quotations follow-up.
• Create and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Support supplier onboarding and documentation processes.
• Prepare procurement-related reports, presentations, and analyses.
• Maintain procurement databases and supplier records.
• Assist in tracking deliveries and resolving order-related issues.
• Support sourcing projects and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from engineering, finance, quality, and operations.
