Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a motivated Working Student to support the Procurement team in daily operational and administrative activities within an international environment.

This 12-month fixed-term role is part-time (30-40%). You will gain practical experience in supplier management, data analysis, and procurement processes, while collaborating with engineering, finance, quality, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in business or related field.
• Interest in procurement, supply chain and purchasing processes.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proactive, structured way of working.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience a plus.
• Fluent in English and German.

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to support our Procurement team in daily operational and administrative activities. This role offers valuable insights into strategic and operational purchasing within an international environment and provides practical experience in supplier management, data analysis, and procurement processes. This role is fixed term (12 months) and part time.

How you’ll make an impact

• Support the Procurement team in daily purchasing activities

Your background

• Proactive and structured way of working
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage
• Fluent in English and German
