Job summary

Teoxane Laboratories in Geneva, Switzerland, is seeking a motivated patent associate for a 6-month contract starting February 2027. You will conduct patent landscape analyses, assist with patent applications, and support FTO analyses under R&D supervision.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Healthcare or Life Sciences, CEIPI or similar patent law training, and familiarity with patent databases such as Espacenet, Orbit or Patsnap. Strict confidentiality and analytical rigor are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed or ongoing Master's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Patent law training (CEIPI "brevets d'invention" or equivalent) ongoing, planned or completed.
• First exposure to patent databases (Espacenet, Orbit, Patsnap ...) is an asset.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, rigour and strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patent landscape analyses and report to the R&D teams.
• Support the preparation of patent applications: prior art searches and drafting.
• Support the competitive patent watch.
• Prepare first drafts of responses to official actions and support opposition proceedings.
• Contribute to freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses.
