Qualifications

• Master's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Chemistry or Biology.
• Patent law training (CEIPI or equivalent) completed or in progress.
• Experience with patent databases (Espacenet, Orbit, PatSnap) is an asset.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, rigour and confidentiality.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patent landscape analyses and report to the R&D teams.
• Support the preparation of patent applications: prior art searches and drafting.
• Support the competitive patent watch.
• Prepare first drafts of responses to official actions and support opposition proceedings.
• Contribute to freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses.
