IMI plc in Switzerland is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site hardware, software and network support for end-users. You will manage Windows OS, Office 365, AD accounts, security practices, and assist in IT-related projects.

You will work with cross-functional teams, respond to incidents within SLA, document knowledge, and help users with best practices in IT security and data management, while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifikationen

• 2-4 years’ IT Support experience in English language
• Strong IT knowledge: AD, Office 365, Azure, networks, Citrix
• Microsoft certification and ITIL are a plus
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
• Proficiency in English; French is a plus
• Experience as a help desk technician or customer support role
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and IT products
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Aufgaben

• Serve as first point of contact for technical assistance over phone or email (on-site and remote)
• Support Windows OS and Office 365 administrative tasks
• Manage Antivirus solutions and troubleshoot issues
• Log and track issues to resolution within SLA
• Maintain IT systems: AD accounts, access rights, users and leavers
• Monitor and back up critical systems and services
• Provide remote support via phone, chat, and remote tools
• Participate in IT projects and implement new solutions
• Train users on basic hardware/software and IT security practices
• Collaborate with IT partners and other teams to resolve problems
