Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH in Lugano seeks a part-time IT Support Specialist to provide first- and second-level contact resolution, working on-site with Windows, Office, Cisco Jabber, and printers. Basic macOS knowledge for Apple users is a plus.

The ideal candidate has several years of IT experience, holds a valid work permit, and is fluent in Italian and English. This role offers an ongoing project, professional environment, and potential for extra hours.

Qualifications

• Valid work permit is required.
• Several years of IT experience.
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber.
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
