Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is seeking an IT Support Specialist for an on-site role in Opfikon, Switzerland. You will provide first- and second-level support, resolve hardware and software issues, and coordinate with vendors for complex AV problems in an international environment.

The role covers Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Cisco Jabber, basic macOS support, printers and hardware, and diagnosing network and workstation problems.

Qualifications

• Valid work permit for Switzerland.
• Several years of experience in the IT field.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber.
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
