Excis Compliance in Basel, Switzerland, seeks a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join our on-site team. You’ll deliver high-quality end-user support, diagnose desktop and printer issues, and manage incidents from start to finish while ensuring SLA compliance.

You’ll support Windows and macOS environments (M365), assist VIP users, and collaborate with IT services and network teams in a fast-paced, collaborative culture.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of technical support experience in fast-paced environments.
• A+ Certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Excellent customer service and VIP support skills.
• Experience supporting large Windows-based environments (Windows 10/11, M365).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience supporting macOS and hybrid Windows/Mac environments.
• Experience with remote support tools (RDP, VNC, Apple Remote Desktop).
• Hands-on experience removing viruses/spyware and performing RCA.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-starter with proven ability to collaborate across teams.
• Languages: German (fluent) and English.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality on-site support for end-users and VIPs, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop systems, printers, and operating issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests independently, from diagnosis to resolution.
• Support PC refresh activities: staging, deployment, data migration, decommissioning, and asset updates.
• Provide hands-on support for peripherals, printers, and AV/meeting room equipment.
• Act as hands-and-eyes for server and network teams.
• Maintain accurate asset records and documentation.
• Educate users on self-help tools and promote remote resolution to reduce dispatches.
• Collaborate with IT Services Data Center and Network Infrastructure teams.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade equipment and associated infrastructure.
• Respond to calls, emails, service tickets, and dispatched requests for technical support.
