Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Tech to optimize shop-floor processes, improve safety, quality, and throughput. You will conduct time studies, design workstation layouts with CAD, and implement kanban and automation solutions to drive efficiency.

The role requires CAD proficiency, MS Office, and strong problem-solving with leadership skills, plus experience in manufacturing. Familiarity with Power BI/SQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Associate or Bachelor’s) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or basic coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Production: Conduct time studies, build Bills of Labor, and set labor rates.
• Design & Layout: Create CAD drawings for workstations, plant layouts, and material flow systems.
• Drive Efficiency: Build kanban systems, write clear operator work instructions, and automate processes to improve safety and throughput.
• Analyze & Improve: Perform cost analysis, root-cause problem solving, and material/equipment testing.
