Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer Tech to optimize shop-floor processes, improve safety, and boost quality across a Bern-area plant. You will analyze workflows, develop labor standards, and design efficient workstation layouts.

The role requires CAD proficiency, strong communication and leadership, and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI. Experience in manufacturing and the ability to drive improvements on the floor are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Associate or Bachelor’s) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or basic coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Production: Conduct time studies, build Bills of Labor, and set labor rates.
• Design & Layout: Create CAD drawings for workstations, plant layouts, and material flow systems.
• Drive Efficiency: Build kanban systems, write clear operator work instructions, and automate processes to improve safety and throughput.
• Analyze & Improve: Perform cost analysis, root-cause problem solving, and material/equipment testing.
