Job summary

Kempinski Hotels in Switzerland, St. Moritz, offers a Trainee Food & Beverage internship for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will contribute to Restaurant Les Saisons and Room Service, while learning Kempinski standards and delivering guest-focused service.

Ideal candidates are organised, motivated to learn, able to work under pressure, and proficient in German and English; Mandarin is a plus. Live and work in the Engadine Alps within a vibrant, international team.

Qualifications

• Organised and precise working style.
• Motivation to learn and create unforgettable guest moments.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain orderliness and high quality awareness.
• Good German and English skills; another language (e.g. Mandarin) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and drinks and replenishing the food and drinks buffet.
• Participation in weekly training courses.
• Working according to Kempinski standards.
• Welcoming and looking after guests.
• Bread, butter and water service.
• Food running from the kitchen pass to the various outlets.
• Breakfast service and à la carte service in the evening.
• Daily mise en place work and buffet service.
• Cleaning work in the restaurant and office.
• Taking orders in German and English.
• Preparing orders and providing in-room service.
• Loading trolleys with orders.
• Conducting sales conversations – upselling.
• Organising and distributing treatments.
• Various cashier duties (Micros System).
• Daily mise en place and various cleaning tasks.
• Distributing treatments.
• Setting up treatments.
• Adherence to the hotel’s internal standards.
