Jobup is seeking a Head of Applications & Support IoT to lead a small team and to oversee the operation of IoT solutions within Switzerland. The role involves coordinating 1st–3rd level support, improving processes, and aligning IT architecture with business goals.

The successful candidate will have a technical background with a VET diploma, strong German, and working knowledge of French and English, plus travel up to 10% within Switzerland.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Applications & Support team of up to five employees, setting priorities.
• Coordinate support, operations and applications for stable, customer-oriented IoT service.
• Spend about 30% on first/second level support and plan 3rd level measures.
• Monitor service quality via volume, response and resolution times; manage escalations.
• Improve support processes, guidelines, documentation, and the knowledge base.
• Review IoT portfolio and IT architecture; drive business cases and stakeholder bridges.

You combine leadership, technology and entrepreneurial thinking: Together with your team, you professionalise the Applications and Support department in the context of water infrastructure, overcome silos and further develop processes and the portfolio with a future-oriented approach.

Head of Applications & Support IoT (all)

Your tasks

• You lead the Applications & Support team with up to five employees both professionally and personally, set clear priorities and strengthen independent action.
• You organise and coordinate support, operations and application topics and ensure a stable, customer-oriented operation of the IoT solutions.
• You work around 30 percent operationally in 1st and 2nd level support and coordinate the organisational measures for 3rd level support.
• You control and report on service quality based on support volume, response and resolution times and ensure comprehensible escalations.
• You simplify and professionalise support and operational processes, guidelines, documentation and the knowledge base and promote knowledge transfer within the team.
• You review and further develop the IoT portfolio and IT architecture economically and with a future focus (business cases), lead IoT projects and build bridges between internal and external stakeholders.

Your expertise

• You have at least three years of experience in the professional and personnel management of a team of comparable size.
• You know the IoT landscape from practice – from development and further development to stable operation.
• You have a technical basic education with a Federal VET Diploma, for example in computer science, automation or electronics, or a commercial basic education with targeted further development in the IoT or application support environment. A successfully completed tertiary education in computer science, systems engineering or automation (higher vocational education) is an advantage.
• You communicate fluently in German and can make yourself understood in French and English (level B1).
• You work in a structured, reflective and solution-oriented manner and tackle operational issues with a high degree of practical relevance yourself.
• You understand service-oriented business models, connect different stakeholders and are willing to travel up to 10 percent within Switzerland.
