Job summary

Jobup is seeking a Head of Applications & Support IoT to lead a small team and to oversee the operation of IoT solutions within Switzerland. The role involves coordinating 1st–3rd level support, improving processes, and aligning IT architecture with business goals.

The successful candidate will have a technical background with a VET diploma, strong German, and working knowledge of French and English, plus travel up to 10% within Switzerland.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in professional and personnel management of a team.
• Solid IoT landscape knowledge from development to operations.
• Technical education with Federal VET Diploma or equivalent; higher education is an advantage.
• Fluent German; working knowledge of French and English (B1).
• Travel up to 10% within Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Applications & Support team of up to five employees, setting priorities.
• Coordinate support, operations and applications for stable, customer-oriented IoT service.
• Spend about 30% on first/second level support and plan 3rd level measures.
• Monitor service quality via volume, response and resolution times; manage escalations.
• Improve support processes, guidelines, documentation, and the knowledge base.
• Review IoT portfolio and IT architecture; drive business cases and stakeholder bridges.
