Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy in Switzerland invites you to a 12-month OSS internship. In a hands-on role, you will ensure employees have reliable devices and a smooth digital workplace, learning to troubleshoot issues under experienced guidance.

You’ll assist with preparing laptops, supporting end users, handling inventory for onboarding and offboarding, and contributing to on-site projects like office relocations and meeting room setups.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying IT/CS at university or technical school (EFZ).
• Comfortable working with people and following procedures.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Eager to learn and develop technical skills hands-on.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Assist in troubleshooting basic IT issues, prepare laptops and other devices for new or existing employees.
• Support end users navigating self-service tools and standard IT procedures.
• Assist with stock handling, asset pickup/return, and device preparation for onboarding/offboarding.
• Support warranty processes by gathering information and preparing devices.
• Help maintain IT equipment in meeting rooms and shared spaces, ensuring systems operate correctly.
• Update documentation related to device preparation and OSS procedures and report issues to the team.
• Engaged in special projects such as relocations or office setup changes and meeting room setups.
• Engaged in on-site projects like office relocations and infrastructure setup, contributing to workplace functionality.
